Dealer Requirements

  • Our equipment must be purchased for resale, not personal use.

  • Minimum spending requirements. (See section below.)

  • If required to sell, or if installing our equipment, the alarm dealer must have liability insurance and the proper business licenses and permits.  (By signing-up or using a dealer account, the alarm dealer agrees the requirements have been met.)

Minimum Spending Requirements

  • First Order - The alarm dealer must purchase at least one alarm system at regular price for evaluation purposes before we will enable dealer pricing.  (If the dealer application is approved, dealer pricing will be shown, but won't apply to the shopping cart until a regular priced alarm has been ordered.)

  • Second Order - Dealer pricing will be enabled for checkout during the second order and all future orders.  The second order must include at least five alarm systems and total at least $800 to obtain dealer pricing.

 

 

STALARMS Alarm Dealer Wholesaler

  • All Additional Orders - After the first and second order, we have no minimum spending requirements or order requirements for each additional order placed.

  • Annual Requirements - We require all alarm dealers to purchase at least seven alarm systems, spending at least $1,000 or more per calendar year.  Failing to do so will disqualify the alarm dealer from the program.

    Warranty & Technical Support

  • Warranty - We warranty all parts through you, the alarm dealer, not directly with your customers.  The alarm dealer must work directly with their customers for warranty related issues.

  • Return Postage - To keep our component prices as low as possible, the alarm dealer is required to pay all postage to return defective parts to us.  The alarm dealer is also required to pay postage for us to replace a defective part(s).

  • Support - Technical support must be provided by the alarm dealer to their customers directly.  We are unable to provide direct technical support to the alarm dealer's customers.


Commonly Asked Questions

 

1.)  I purchased several alarms in the past.  Will they be applied to meet the requirements of this dealer program?

Yes, just let us know about the transacitons.  An example of this would be if you ordered one alarm system in the past year.  You could skip the first order requirement outlined in this program.  Another example would be if you purchased six or more alarm systems within the last year.   You would qualify to skip the first two order requirements that are outlined in this program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  2.) I placed several orders at normal price in the past year.  Can I be refunded for the difference in price I paid?

No.  Orders that were placed while not enrolled in our alarm dealer program do not qualify for alarm dealer pricing.

 

 

 

3.)  What pricing should I expect?

Most alarm packages are discounted from 30% to 35% off our listed website price.  This range depends on the alarm system that is being purchased and how many components are required. Most individual components are discounted from approximately 30% to 60% off our listed website price.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.)  Is everyone approved for an alarm dealer account?

No.  We do not approve all dealer applications.  We consider several factors while processing applications.

 

Although not required, we consider the applicant's previous order volume and communication between us.  We also consider how much time and effort was taken while completing the application.  Incomplete applications are not considered.

 

Other applications are declined based upon selling strategies and/or better qualified applicants at the time of sign-up.

*1 - We charge a $5 flat fee for handling.  We also charge a 2.5% surcharge when paying with paypal or a credit card.  No surcharge is required when paying by check or money order.
