Universal Adapter Overview
This universal wireless adapter allows standard alarm control panels to receive RF signals through their 12v wired zone terminals. It receives the signals and communicates directly to the panel's wired zones. This wireless module connects wireless motion detectors, wireless door and window sensors, wireless smoke detectors, and other essential wireless components to your existing alarm system.

Adding wireless devices will save time for busy installers and homeowners. Not only will this wireless device save a lot of time during the installation, but it will allow an affordable solution to add wireless components to virtually any security system that has wired zones.

Features:
Supports 433mhz / Shield Tech Security 4xx Series Wireless Sensors.
Supports Normally Closed (NC) Circuits.
Supports 8 Wireless Sensors (& Unlimited Special Door/Window Sensors)

Tamper Support - Triggers the zone if a wireless tamper alarm is received.
Easy Plug-And-Play Technology.

Not Supported:
Ready-to-Arm Feature -- This feature is currently not supported. This device will trigger/open the wired terminals for 5 seconds, then it will close the wired terminals. So if you leave a door or window open, this device will not tell your alarm that the door or window is still open.

Specs:
Supports 433mhz / Shield Tech Security 4xx Series Wireless Sensors.
Supports Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO) Circuits.
Supports 8 Wireless Sensors (Device supports unlimited door/window sensors (STS4-DORN) on a total of 3  zones. Unlimited door/window sensors requires special sensors. Please contact us if you need these special  sensor.) on 8 zones (4 wireless sensors may be programmed to each zone.)
Unit can be wired for sensors to trigger 1 to 8 different zones. (Example: All 8 wireless sensors can trigger 1 N/C wired circuit or each of the 8 wireless sensors can trigger 8 different N/C wired circuits.)

Powered by the alarm panel's auxiliary 12v power supply and backup battery.
Unit is wired directly to wired zones on the alarm panel.

Optional Components:
12v Power Supply Available for Aux Power. (Not Included)

Requirements:
- An alarm panel that supports wired zone contacts.
- Installer code & programming instructions for your existing alarm system.
- Resistors for the wired terminals. (Each alarm uses different k ohm resistors;
please consult your existing alarm's user manual.)
